Tasting notes
The dress of Château Lafleur The 2003 vintage is a deep, almost ruby red. On the nose, aromas of ripe black fruit, cherries, and spicy nuances mingle harmoniously. On the palate, this wine is full-bodied and velvety, with silky tannins and lovely freshness. The long, persistent finish reveals notes of cocoa and spice, attesting to its aging potential.

The team's opinion
2003 is a Lafleur Atypical. It's not the most "intellectual" vintage (like 2005 or 2010), but it's one of the most hedonistic. It survived the extreme heat thanks to the depth of its roots. Don't decant it too vigorously. Decanting for 30 to 45 minutes is enough to awaken it without oxidizing its aromas.
