    Owner and history

    This cuvée comes from the oldest vines in the vineyard, located in the Herrenweg area (a specific vineyard site in Turckheim). The vines are planted in well-drained sandy-gravelly soils and richer silt soils. The soil has the particularity of having relatively good water retention, which allows the vines to avoid water stress. The vineyard has been certified biodynamic since 2002.
