THE Château Margaux is currently run by the Mentzelopoulos family, who acquired the domaine in 1977. Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Margaux is done with the utmost care. After a manual harvest, the grapes are precisely sorted. Fermentation takes place in wooden vats, allowing for a delicate extraction of tannins. Aging occurs in oak barrels, some of which are new, for approximately 18 months. This meticulous process allows the aromatic complexity and structure of the wine to develop, while preserving the authenticity of the terroir.
