Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Margaux is a meticulous process, respecting traditions while integrating modern techniques. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted to retain only the finest. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for optimal temperature control. Aging in oak barrels, some of which are new, lasts from 18 to 24 months, imparting complexity and structure to the wine. This care taken at each stage of winemaking is the key to the excellence of the wines of Château Margaux.
