Owner and history

Currently headed by Michel Reybier, the Château Cos d'Estournel has experienced a renaissance since its acquisition in 2000. Passionate about the art of winemaking and architecture, Reybier invested in the domaine to improve the quality of the wines while respecting tradition. His commitment to excellence and innovation has allowed the château to strengthen its position on the international Bordeaux wine scene.

Vinification and aging

The winemaking process for G d'Estournel 2025 follows traditional methods, combining modern techniques with respect for the terroir. The carefully selected grapes are destemmed before being placed in vats for controlled fermentation. Aging takes place in oak barrels, some of which are new, to impart subtle aromatic complexity.
