The Domaine Comte Armand vineyard is situated on clay-limestone soils, typical of the Côte de Beaune. The vines, some several decades old, benefit from optimal sun exposure. The temperate climate and the temperature variations between day and night promote a slow and even ripening of the grapes, allowing the full expression of the terroir's character. Each plot is cultivated with care, respecting the local ecosystem and contributing to the exceptional quality of the wines produced.

    Owner and history

Today, Domaine Comte Armand is managed by Paul Zinetti, who carries on the family tradition while incorporating modern practices. With a deep connection to the terroir, he strives to produce wines that reflect the uniqueness of each plot. His passion for sustainable viticulture and his commitment to excellence result in wines that appeal to both connoisseurs and enthusiasts. Thanks to his vision, the estate continues to shine on the international wine scene.

    Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine Comte Armand is a meticulous process designed to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place in open vats for a gentle extraction of aromas and tannins. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, to add complexity and depth without masking the purity of the Pinot Noir. This aging method harmonizes the wine while respecting its original character.
