Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Haut-Brion Winemaking is a mastered art. The grapes, harvested by hand, are carefully selected before being destemmed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled vats, allowing for precise temperature control. Aging in oak barrels, some of which are new, lasts approximately 18 months, imparting complexity and richness to the wine. The blends are meticulously crafted, aiming to best express the terroir and the vintage. Every step of the winemaking process is designed to guarantee the quality and authenticity of the wines produced.
