Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Lafite Rothschild It is a meticulous process. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted to guarantee optimal quality. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature control. Aging occurs in oak barrels, some of which are new, for approximately 18 months. This process gives the wine its structure and unique character, while respecting the pure expression of the terroir.
