THE Château Clerc Milon has been owned by the Rothschild family since 1970. Under their management, the domaine has undergone a remarkable transformation, combining winemaking tradition and innovation. The Rothschilds invested in improving infrastructure and winemaking practices, allowing the château to regain its 5th place ranking Grand Cru Classé. Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Clerc Milon It is a meticulous process, where each step is carefully considered to enhance the wine's potential. The harvest is done by hand, guaranteeing rigorous grape selection. After delicate destemming, alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, preserving the freshness of the aromas. Aging occurs in oak barrels, some of which are new, for a period of 12 to 18 months. This method imparts aromatic complexity and an elegant tannic structure to the wine, while respecting the identity of the terroir.
