Owner and history

Cornelius Dönnhoff embodies the new generation at the head of this domaine A family tradition. He took over the reins from his father, Helmut Dönnhoff, an iconic figure in German winemaking. He is considered one of the most talented winemakers of his generation, and his wines are regularly praised by international critics.

Vinification and aging

The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and aromas of the Riesling. Aging on fine lees for several months adds complexity and texture to the wine. Bottling is carried out with light filtration to avoid altering the wine's natural character. Dönnhoff uses indigenous yeasts for fermentation, thus promoting the expression of the terroir.
