    Owner and history

    The 32-hectare vineyard of Château Monbousquet is situated on a terroir of gravelly soils, ideal for the development of Cabernet Sauvignon, with the proportions of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon consistently equal in the final blend. The grape varieties are 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard lies on a plain with a terroir of sand, gravel, and limestone. To the south, the soil is composed of deep, warm gravel, while to the north it is sandy-clay.

    Vinification and aging

    - The grape harvest is done by hand
    - Aged for 18 to 24 months in 50% new oak barrels
