    Vinification and aging

    Winemaking at Château Branaire-Ducru The wine is made with meticulous care. The grapes are harvested by hand and then carefully sorted. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature management. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, 50% of which are new, for 12 to 18 months. This crucial stage imparts complexity to the wine while preserving the fruity expression of the grape varieties. The blends are carefully crafted to achieve the desired harmony in each vintage.
