The dress of this Champagne Rosé It is a delicate and luminous pink. On the nose, it reveals aromas of fresh red fruits, white flowers, and subtle citrus notes. Far from classic rosés, Fleur de Miraval uses a sophisticated technique to preserve the freshness of the Chardonnay while bringing the nobility of the Pinot Noir. The Blend: It consists of 75% Chardonnays of different ages (benefiting from the Péters' expertise in the Blanc de Blancs) and 25% of young Pinot Noirs vinified as red wine. The Perpetual Reserve: The heart of the wine rests on a perpetual reserve (solera system) which brings a density and texture that is normally only found in very old bottles. Protection: To avoid the "light-struck" taste that spoils rosé wines, each bottle is lacquered in a deep black, protecting the wine until serving.

Owner and history

Flower of Miraval is the result of a collaboration between Rodolphe Péters and actor Brad Pitt. Rodolphe Péters brings his expertise in crafting fine champagnes. The Jolie-Pitt family, passionate about wine and committed to environmental preservation, contributes their vision and energy. Together, they have created a champagne rosé exceptional, reflecting their values and commitment to quality and authenticity.

Vinification and aging

With 75% Chardonnay of varying ages, this second edition benefited from the considerable richness of the 2012 vintage and the perfect balance of the 2014 vintage, all within a dense, perpetual reserve. The remaining 25%, young Pinot Noirs from the Vertus terroir, energize the delicate mineral, saline, and iodine expression of the Chardonnay and contribute significantly to the wine's aromatic profile.

THE Champagne Flower of Miraval Exclusively Rosé (ER2) is one of the most unique and exclusive wines in the region. Born from the union of three exceptional families — the Pitts (Brad Pitt), the Perrins (Château de Beaucastel) and the Péters (winegrowers in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger) — this house is the only one in Champagne to devote themselves exclusively to rosé wine. ER2 (for Exclusively Rosé, 2nd edition) follows the first launch with an even greater pursuit of finesse and complexity.
