From sustainable farming practices,David Reynauddecided to switch to organic farming and thenbiodynamicThus, his personal commitments and the values he defends took official form in 2005, when Domaine Les Bruyères received certificationBiodyvinThrough each vintage, the enthusiastDavid ReynaudHe attempts (and succeeds!) to tell a story, born from “a love, a passion or a tribute,” he says.
A unique terroir in the Rhône Valley
Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas & Saint-Joseph
The vineyard ofDomaine les Bruyèresfinds its place in the Northern Rhône Valley, on the privileged appellations ofCornas,Crozes-HermitageAndSaint Josephrecently. The unique terroir of these northern Rhône regions consists of a soil of “chassisThe vineyard's soil features characteristic detrital pebbles and a clay-limestone subsoil, from which the vines draw their character. Furthermore, thanks to its terraced structure, the vineyard benefits from ample sunshine and adequate drainage. Thus, all the necessary conditions are in place for the vines to produce beautiful fruit, which will express itself elegantly in the glass.
