Quarters of Thatch

This renowned appellation for sweet white wines from the Loire Valley is produced in the Anjou-Saumur wine region, on chalky, clay-sandy soils. Historically, a quarter of the vineyard was reserved for the Lord of Chaume personally to produce the finest sweet white wines of the region. Since the 11th century, only sweet wines have been entitled to this appellation. This exceptional wine can be cellared for up to 20 years if you wish to invest in it.
