The illustration for the 2015 vintage was created by the German artist Gerhard Richter, known worldwide for his inventive pictorial forms and techniques. His work for Mouton-Rothschild is called "Flux," a photograph of colors in motion.

The signature of Baroness Philippine de Rothschild, who passed away in 2014, disappears from this new vintage. It is now the signature of Philippe Sereys de Rothschild that appears for the first time, representing the three current family owners of the Château Mouton-Rothschild.
