The 14.5 hectares of vines are cultivated with respect for the environment, across 15 appellations around the villages of Vosne-Romanée And Nuits-Saint-Georges predominantly. Particular attention is paid to the vineyard, and therefore to the grapes, in order to guarantee exceptional quality from one harvest to the next.
THE domaine owns 0.34 hectares out of the 9.30 hectares of the Romanée-Saint-Vivant appellation Grand Cru. A prestigious appellation, located just below the famous Romanée-ContiOnly 4 to 5 barrels of this great wine are produced each year. A complex wine with a velvety texture, it blends spices, plum, violet, and black cherry. Patience will be required to fully appreciate its potential.
The year 2012 suffered from unfavorable weather. The cover cropping between the vines helped absorb the excess water of this difficult vintage.
